Heading off to Fukuoka in Kyushu on a short trip with my family today, and here is the 10 of Cups to express the feeling of fun, excitement and celebration! We are indeed fortunate because we are travelling ahead of an incoming typhoon. The sky is bright and the trains are all running.
We are taking an indirect route from Hiroshima to Fukuoka. First, we’re catching a bullet train to Shimonoseki and then a bus to the Kanmon pedestrian tunnel that links Kyushu to Honshu – note the stretch of water in the 10 of Cups! After that we’re going to catch a local retro train to Moji and then a train across to Fukuoka in time for dinner. I’m sure there will be plenty of opportunity for celebratory drinks along the way!
