Today was to have been a happy day spent celebrating the graduation of students from one of the colleges where I teach here in Japan. However, all that has been cancelled as part of the widespread precautions in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. Somehow, then, the Five of Pentacles seems a most appropriate arcana to draw for today.
The Five of Pentacles is known as the Lord of Material Trouble, and is ruled by fleet footed Mercury in slow and plodding Taurus, which tends to cause people to worry too much.
