The King of Cups is what I refer to as the Antonine arcana of the Tarot as I fancy that it depicts Anthony reigning over his element of water as I mentioned in a blog post in April. If we check the watery planets today, we find Venus close to Mars and the Sun in Leo and trining Uranus while the waning Moon is in airy Gemini. The trine of Venus and Uranus suggests that today is a good time to create some spontaneity in our relationships. The lunar progression through Gemini (that is, the watery element of cups passing through the kingly element of air) invites us to be flexible, communicative and open to new insights throughout the day and to bask with delight like a dolphin showing its back to the air as it swims through the great water.
