The Morgan-Greer rendering of the 9 of Rods is more confident, dynamic and victorious in its feeling than that of the Rider-Waite deck. The figure is now a knight in armour with his head (bandaged in the Rider Waite deck) protected by his helmet, although the beaver is up, suggesting that there is a pause in the battle or that it is now over.
