Following on from yesterday’s Seven of Cups Reversed, the Ace of Cups is a wonderful confirmation of the blessings that overflow for us once we have committed to following a dream that is consonant with who and what we wish to become.
Actually, the Ace of Cups also reminds us, through the image of the dove, that our cup overflows with blessings no matter what the day delivers. At the same time, the lotus, rooted in the mud blossoms on the surface of the water, reminding us that we can grow and develop according to our ideals no matter where we start from.
In addition, and in concert with this, the 12th week after Trinity Sunday, when we visit the arcana of the (12) Hanged Man, we note that the lotus flower is also a symbol of detachment as the waters of emotion do not adhere to it.

As far as what I just wrote about being “committed to following a dream that is consonant with who and what we wish to become” is concerned, later in the day I listened to female racing driver Danica Patrick talking to Tom Bilyeu on Impact Theory on the topic of chasing your dreams and winning. Highly recommended!
