And you may find yourself stuck, trapped and unable to see a way out. The creative aspect of your being feels trapped in your current exterior circumstances. Remember, we are in the last quarter of the waning moon, a time of pouring out, a time when a sense of helplessness and sharp thoughts of self-recrimination may come to the fore. You may wish to indulge yourself in this mood during this time, to fully enter into your sense of entrapment and explore and understand yourself more fully. I would suggest you do that by taking some time out to write a journal about your current situation so that you can make it more concrete and begin to consider some ways through. Keep in mind the upper arcana equivalent of the 8 of Swords is (8) Strength and that there the lady calmly controls the lion whose jaws are open yet whose teeth do not threaten any more than the eight impaled swords do in today’s arcana.
